Use prayer times and Qibla tools responsibly

Confirm the active location and method

Choose the location whose schedule you intend to follow and confirm the displayed timezone and calculation method. The header countdown and prayer page should use that same active schedule. When local community guidance differs, follow the appropriate local guidance.

Treat notifications as reminders

Athan alerts require notification permission and a registered device or supported local scheduling. Keep the Athan setting enabled only on devices where you want the alert, and remember that operating-system battery settings can delay background notifications.

Use Qibla guidance with calibrated sensors

The Qibla bearing is calculated from the selected coordinates. A live compass heading also depends on device support, permission, orientation, magnetic interference, and calibration. Move away from metal objects and compare the static bearing when a reliable heading is unavailable.

• Confirm the exact displayed coordinates.
• Hold the device flat in its supported orientation.
• Recalibrate when the heading jumps or remains fixed.
• Use the bearing value as a fallback when sensors are unavailable.

Verify when accuracy is especially important

QuranLog provides practical schedule and direction tools, not religious rulings. Travel, unusual latitudes, device limitations, and local conventions may require confirmation with a trusted local source.
