What QuranLog provides

QuranLog supports Quran reading and listening, progress tracking, notes, bookmarks, reminders, classrooms, notifications, prayer times, Qibla guidance, and optional native offline recitations. Some features require an account, network access, device permissions, or available device storage.

Information connected to your account

We store account and profile details, learning progress and preferences, notes and bookmarks, classroom memberships and shared classroom content, notification preferences, device registration needed for enabled alerts, and prayer locations that you save. Classroom access and shared progress are limited by the applicable membership and authorization rules.

How information is used

Information is used to provide and synchronize the features you request, remember your settings, show your progress and saved Quran content, operate classroom sessions, deliver enabled notifications, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and protect the service. If you opt in, Google Analytics 4 measures page views on public pages only. Google receives the public page path without query parameters, its title, browser and device details, and connection data such as your IP address. We do not send Quran progress, private notes, classroom content, or prayer coordinates to Analytics. You can withdraw consent through Analytics preferences.

Prayer and location information

Prayer locations are user-owned settings. Device location is requested only after an explicit action and may be used to find a suitable schedule, calculate Qibla direction, or improve the location shown in the app. You can use manual coordinates and delete saved locations. Precise location is not intentionally written to logs, URLs, or analytics.

Cookies, preferences, and offline audio

Browser storage includes non-sensitive preferences such as language, theme, and layout, plus your optional Analytics consent choice. Google Analytics cookies are used only if you opt in, and you can withdraw consent through Analytics preferences. Native offline recitations are stored in private app storage on the device and use non-sensitive package metadata. Downloaded audio is device-scoped and is not a substitute for account backups.

Access and service operations

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by services and processors needed to authenticate accounts, store user-owned data, deliver requested notifications, provide requested content, and operate classroom or communication features. Google processes public-page analytics only if you opt in. Access is limited to the information needed for the requested operation, and private classroom content is not made public.

Your controls and retention

You can review and update profile details, change preferences, disable alerts, manage saved locations, edit or delete notes and bookmarks, leave classrooms where available, and delete your account in the app. If you cannot access the app, visit the public account deletion page for instructions to request deletion. We retain information only as needed to provide the service, protect users, resolve disputes, meet applicable obligations, or complete deletion and backup processes.

Age policy and security limits

QuranLog is not intended for children under 13, and Kid mode does not change that age requirement. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet transmission, device storage, permission, or account system can be guaranteed completely secure.
